Barker is entertainment, and I would love to see him every week
-
This is good news. He's always been one of my favourite riders, and even though he's a shade past his best,I'm sure he'll do a good job.
-
These are very good picks.

Bye Tai, you were a good world champion off-track, but a poor one on-track, at least in the BEL. I think you have just made Wolverhampton stronger though!

I'm not surprised about this news, after all Peterborough are not the best of mates with Swindon.

The Landshut meeting I linked the video to was the night before the world final and it worked really well-massive crowd there. I remember driving from Munich and we passed the Muldorf long track stadium on the way.
I was at that meeting to, and it was better than the final!

It's typical of the multi-aliased one to use different names to say the opposite thing. I really think that he/she/it, needs psychological help

Yes:
Coventry - H.Andersen K.Howarth M.Fricke K.Hansen C.Harris J.Garritty J.Sarjeant
Coventry certainly have some Poole experts there!
Tonight, most speedway fans in the UK, expect Coventry to put in a tremendous effort against Poole.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going; Fortune favours the brave: You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!
Thank you.

I though that Barker came back too early at Coventry, because he really seemed to struggle to stay on his bike. This is a wise move by Coventry, and even though it makes things much tougher, we all know that those mighty Bees will be in there fighting for every point tonight! Go Bees!

A classic 'oxymoron'.

I don't really care who wins as long as it isn't Poole.

Some of us said Barker was a poor signing. Some, I don't know, maybe you? defended it. So far it's been a disaster except for the meeting at BV the first time and at Swindon last week.
Hans has been off form but I don't remember anyone naming checking me and getting a dig in about that only for them to end up being wrong.
Still, if Barker scores 12 from 4 or 13+ from 5 you can have the l

I applauded Coventry for getting rid of MJJ. Some seemed to think that he was the Messiah, rather than the 6.5 rider that he actually was. You pointed out what a bad signing Barker was because there were no decent guests available for him. Well, there was a good guest available, and Coventry are in the final.

Just think though. If Coventry didn't have Ben Barker in the team they could be 6-10 points up now!
Never mind blaming Barker, what about your number one? Three points on his home track? He blamed the fact that he had not been on a bike for two weeks, but how long had Barker been off,not to mentioned being injured? They both have the chance to put things right tomorrow.

With the turbo-twins, now replaced by the torpid-twins, anything is possible. Go Coventry!

I see that the multi-alliased one is in full power mode!

When PK and MJJ have met, then PK has almost always come out on top. It's a joke that PK, will not be in the GP series next year, and an even bigger joke that THJ will.

Congratulations to 44 year old Greg Hancock. I doubt if anyone will ever beat that, unless of course he wins it next year!

Just got up to check the result. It's hard to believe that we were the form team before the play-offs started. How different we've been since! Well done to Coventry though, and history may well repeat itself here. Ever since Coventry booted that wasted of space MJJ, out, "SCB" and "Blu panther" have told us time and time again that Coventry could not possibly win the league without him, and "SCB" pointed out that having to use guests for Barker, would also be a disaster. Wrong on both counts.
At least I will be home from China on Thursday, to watch the Poole V KL, match. Bed now1

The best of luck to those mighty Robins! I just hope I can be awake at 02:30, to watch the live updates.

The best of luck to KL. When you get chances like this, you have to grab them.

Alias number 30 something?

I expect Rosco will be sheeting himself!

Poole are getting some terrible luck. It's almost as though someone up there doesn't like Matt Ford.

I will still be in Shanghai when this meeting is on, but I will definitely be watching the updates. The first meeting was a bit disappointing and we really should have kept it closer than we did. It’s all to play for though, and on our home track we definitely have the power to win through.Maybe, we had a couple of riders who felt the pressure of a semi-final in the first leg, but surelyThe lure of a place in the final can overcome that, and if so, we can get there.- 1

Don't forget that we, potentially, have two strong reserves, which offsets weaker heatleaders, if that's what we have.
