Not the best start to 2019. Jaimon Lidsey has sadly broken his collarbone riding in Australia. Let’s hope he isnt out for too long as he could well be our trump card for this season.

Pretty happy with the team. Strong top 2 which could be a very strong top 4 if Worrall and Dan get back to how they were pre-injuries. Wells should be steady away in the middle order and hopefully Lidsey’s promise is fulfilled in the big wide open spaces of the NSS. Only one I ain’t too fussed on is Berge. Came in last year and was average for me - got a few 8 & 9 point scores but was always from 6 or 7 rides and was no better than who he replaced. Personaly i’d have gone for one of the 2 young Aussie lads based over here, Campton or Pickering who both had better seasons last year than Berge. Overall, not too bad though and think the league is going to be pretty even in 2019.

Definitely looks stronger than our (BV) team especially as we will have one untried reserve and 2 guys coming back from serious injuries. P’boro team looks great

What crap fixtures the day after Wroclaw GP, very disappointing. Nothing within a 4 hour drive?? Surely they could have put Leszno at home so the place would be packed out???

Wouldn’t go for Berge personally although Lemon seems to like him. Flattered to deceive for us at end of season and wasn’t much better than what we let go. just looked at his Championship average as well and didn’t realize it was just 5.03??? Persoanlly I would rather go with one of the 2 young Aussie lads, Pickering or Campton alongside Lidsey. All Aussie boys together so should get on well and maybe have a bit of friendly rivalry as well.

Think Dan will be named but then it’ll be a temp replacement til he is fit to ride, whenever that may be?? As ya say, if he comes back and struggles like Worrall did this year, it’s essential we get Bjerre as to have Dan & Worrall at heat leaders coming off 2 horrendous injuries would be too much of an ask.

Was very propular with the Aces fans but struggled a lot away from home which cost him his place, even though for me, the replacements did no better!!! Mind u, we seem to be pinning a lot on this this young lad Lidsey doing the business which is a big ask seen as though he hasn’t ridden over here yet

Heard of a few rumored Belle Vue 1-7’s from good sources and Jack Holder not mentioned in any of them although I would love him at The Aces. Thought him and Kurtz were nailed on as the top 2???

I would hope so and then we can have him at reserve!!!! He’s ridden Ekstraliga though so this always seems to lead to a higher assessed average for some reason?? Like Drozdz last season. He had ridden Ekstraliga and came in on assessed average of 5.00.

Not sure where Lidsey’s average has come from?? Rode in Ekstraliga last year (only 1 ride mind u!!) so pretty sure he will be a 5.00 or at the best a 4.00. Pretty sure Cooky will be back now Doyle has gone to Swindon as there were rumors he might go there but not now as they will be too top heavy. Worrall also nailed on to be back

No chance of getting Bewley. Rybnik think the world of him and pretty sure he’s back there next year which rules him out given the Sunday afternoon home meetings.

Just got to the pub in Gdansk and the meeting is on and what was all this nonsense about it being a virtual sell out and there was just a handful of tickets left?? The place isn’t even half full!!!!! Very disappointing as most of my crew wouldn’t go as they thought we would struggle to get in, when in reality it’s empty!!!!

Was chatting to Phil Morris on Friday night and he said they will be announced today and full calendar by Tuesday at the latest so shouldn’t be long to wait

Pawlicki is woeful tonight - going to cost Leszno the title unless they start replacing him. Looks so slow and is then blocking his own faster team mate. Did it just then with Kubera and did it earlier to Smektala who luckily got passed him and then passed the Gorzow rider. Would replace him now for rest of meeting unless he rides someone else’s bike
