We were forced to listen to Mick Jagger singing "Start Me Up" over the p.a. last night.. A song that repeatedly includes the line 'You make a grown man cry'. Who on earth considered that to be an appropriate song to choose? What on earth were they thinking..?

At Plymouth last night we were advised that if a rider now touches the tapes with his helmet he is no longer excluded. A "warning"is issued instead. Thus ref Mick Posslewhite ordered a re-run of heat 12 without penalising Richard Andrews. An exclusion (disqualifiaction sorry) only applies if it's the bike that infringes. Wondering what the thinking is behind this?

Lucky this wasn't a Devils match as there would have likely been a crowd of people on the 2nd bend who Freemantle would have landed in . As it was a grass landing proved ideal.

The BLRC was fllawed as soon as there became less than 16 teams in the top division. It's effectively now gone the same way as the KOC. The league has become a warm-up and the champions are now the best team over 4 meetings. apart from that everything's fine...
