Maybe it’s a case of “once bitten twice shy” . We thought we had a Team when we rocked up for Press and Practice day last year and then look what happened. Can’t blame fans for worrying or being sceptical in the circumstances. -

It’s laughable - then read the Admission Details Page! It includes VIP Option which has various extras including: PARKING (doesn’t say where exactly but I think we can all guess where that will be) PIT WALK CENTRE VISIT further down is an item listed as OTHER RACE DAY OPPORTUNITIES which includes - Visit to the Centre Green £5 for 2 Heats. If if they are deadly SERIOUS about Health & Safety I believe these two items should also be scrapped as I can’t think of anything more dangerous than walking through the Pits with trucks, bikes, tractors etc. etc. moving about - you just can’t be too careful! -

Theyre pathetic and totally unprofessional. Our Club deserves so much better especially as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. -

No you sound like a very lucky fan who has a professional and competent promotion of the club you follow. Unless you are aPanthers fan you cannot fully understand all the problems that have befallen theClub and our fans over the past 12 months. It has been heartbreaking to witness and there seems to be no end to the disillusionment we are sadly continuing to endure. From your position it’s very easy to criticise - especially people you don’t know but I can assure you they are not moaning for moaning’s sake - they are genuinely and quite rightly worried about the stance our Promotion are taking against the disabled as we have previous experience of their lack of open communication with fans - Kings Lynn fans will more than likely tell you the same - is there a common factor here? You can bet your life there is!!!!! -

I understand you are trying to helpNeil but think it needs pointing out that parts of those routes are not tarmac, uneven and can be difficult to walk across for able bodied fans never mind Disabled trying to do the same. -

It’s like the film GroundhogDay - here we are 12 months later and the Promotion are acting exactly the same just different problem this time! -

Yes that sounds simple enough to most people but I’m sure it’s far too complicated for Buster Pratt & Co. checks on entering by looking at Blue Badges and supervision of parking - what could be simpler? -

But at the stages in their careers that they are at too right their averages should be increasing each season especially as the league weakens continually season after season. -

Instead of Tungate - ok so his average is a little lower but at least he would turn up! -

Thank goodness for that - dodged a bullet there!

It doesn’t sound good does it - not filling me with confidence that all will be well in the end. -

That doesn’t fit with the Dads Army theme I believe the team will be made up of sadly! -
Some good news reported in the local news today. Truckfest has signed an agreement to hold its festival at the Eoes for the next five years. If that’s happening no reason why speedway cannot continue imo.

No not really - the pattern this season with the triumvirate of Buster’s Clubs has been to provide guests for the one riding if the other two are not. Since Ipswich were also riding on the evening in question that only left Peterborough riders of which Proctor is one - Wright I doubt would have wanted the booking as he has been ”desperately trying to keep himself fit for Cardiff” (as explained by him on Tues evening) Andersen who has crashed recently himself may not have wanted it or even been in the UK? Tungate - was he in the UK? No idea! Nicholls has been in such poor form in the PL - not a good choice so who is left? Proctor who at least has plenty of experience of the Saddlebow Road track earlier this season. That’s my theory for what it’s worth anyway! -
Peterborough v Wolves 17.9.19

If this season (and last winter close season) has taught us anything - it’s don’t take anything said by anyone (including Club Promoters) for granted. During 2019 on Press and Practice Day morning I would have thought we felt confident with our team line-up for the season despite the previous Harris mullarkey and look how that turned out!!!! So in 2020 if we survive I shall not get excited until I hear Edwin confirm our line up for the first home meeting. No point in wasting precious time and getting hopes up just to have them dashed again.
