Had some friends with this issue.

Husband switched the contract in to the wife's name to take advantage of 'new customer' offers, and used the same email address to register the second Sky ID.

So when they were trying to add Discovery the final step in the process fails, as when it comes back to Sky they don't know where to add the package to as the email address is in their system twice.

Thanks for your reply - yes that makes sense as I believe it’s an email problem possibly Discovery end but for 23 years Sky has been in husband’s name and email address and never changed - we have also used his email for Discovery+ and then yes the process fails.   Keeps trying to make us pay for their Subscription but it should already be covered by Sky but D+ doesn’t seem to recognise that.    After spending hours on the phone to Sky don’t know what else to do - it’s a pain!!!

Not sure they will gain much from this sport. All sounds a bit advanced for most speedway fans.

Remember, most of them can't even find the GP coverage on the Discovery+ app.

Hardly surprising when we have spent hours on the phone to Sky Customer Support - 3 different people on three separate occasions  - and even they cannot sort it despite our package including it!   You’re very welcome to come and try if you think you can!   I would be so grateful.

We're you actually there? The crowd was very good with a delayed start to get everyone in.

It was a reasonable crowd but the delayed start to get people in was due to the accident on the A1 nearby and the traffic build up as the Police closed the road.   Someone I know was in it for 2 hours and missed the first 7/8 races!

Either way, it's not Busters fault at Lynn or Peterborough. The fact of the matter is, the man has contractual obligations to fulfil and that includes participating in every meeting that he is scheduled too. The fact that he/Wroclaw is skirting around the rules by using a contrived "injury" should not be permissible in any form. He is essentially "withholding services" without the ban.

Of course, Buster probably shouldn't have been so naive to re-sign him with Peterborough as he does have previous, but whether Wroclaw have injuries or not, he still has a contractual obligation to Peterborough the same he does Wroclaw.

Imagine if, for example the shoe was on the other foot, the Polish lawyers would be coming with their pitchforks full force at UK speedway. So I ask the question why is the SCB or whoever deals with these situations not doing anything about it?

Whatever the whys and wherevers Buster is complicit in it even if not his doing/suggestion/instruction to Laguta that’s causing him to miss this meeting BECAUSE we all know only to well that Buster does not take kindly to any rider messing him about - ie the Holder/Batchelor fiasco!

Laguta back to his old tricks again, just in different colours now. Only managed to do 3 meetings before missing one, worse than at Lynn.

"Ankle injury". Seemed fine on Thursday and didn't look like it was falling off yesterday.

But is it Laguta himself making this choice?   If I were the owner of KL Stars and he messed me about would I then sign him and give him a Teamplace in the team of the other Club I owned?   Only someone stupid or with some financial gain would do that.   As Mimmo says Laguta knew the score last Thursday with his long salute to the Grandstand - makes sense now - I did wonder at the time!    If he knew then in my opinion others also knew ie: Owner, Team Manager maybe Team Captain etc. etc.  Doubtless the truth of the matter will ever come out - well not officially anyway!!!!

Truth is we'll never know, but if he hadn't fallen off and managed to have an injury and fall-free run for the first weeks of the season I expect things would have been very different.

I do agree with a previous comment, it's a bit of a coincidence that the team has become a lot stronger since the former co promoter left the scene

Many coincidences and strange goings-on at The Club this season sadly!   Trying to make sense of it all is not easy and frustrating to say the least!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. However, no one knows what would've happened if that first corner, on the first lap, in the first meeting didn't happen

Then I believe it would have happened in the 2nd Meeting or 3rd BUT the end result would have been the same however long (or as I believe short) Pedersen’s stay in 2023 with the Club would have been.   That signing ultimately was where all went wrong this season for The Club - but look at us now - just shows what could have been!

I asked the SCB. They will only get involved if requested  - and at the point I asked them no one had.

Sounds bonkers to me, especially where the current owner has apparently just accepted closure

    Your not wrong!

Now ask yourself WHY would he do that?   Has to be a reason doesn’t there?   Not one that’s going to benefit Peterborough as a Club as far as I can see!

A little tearful on departing realising that might be my last ever visit. (My first was in 78 and in 98 and 99 it was my 'local track').

What struck me was how there was absolutely no mention of the stadium's fate. It us almost as if someone in charge doesn't want people objecting!

Yes - very strange isn’t it?   There must be a reason - brown envelopes I suspect - sad!

Buster should just merge KL and Peterborough as one team next season, Home attendances would be good as you'll get all of the loyal KL fans as well as the loyal Panthers fans turning up every week.

No I don’t believe you would - not in the circle of friends I mix with who are all “loyal Panthers fans”.

Surely the Precedence was set last year with Adam Ellis been named wildcard because he didn't get the chance in the covid years, If tonights rained off then Tom Brennan should get the wildcard as he missed out last year been runner up in the Final as it was held after Cardiff due to the original been called off.

No doubt they'll give it to Ellis again though as he's the one whose face usually fits.

If they have to nominate then HARRIS IS THE MAN!
