  1. I agree, if Chapman is sure the club is going to shut why doesn't he sell the club that is about to become almost worthless. The rider assets could be transferred to Kings lynn, all he would be selling is the track, fence and tapes. He has either taken cash from the developers or he thinks they might be able to carry on.......I hope its the latter.
  2. No fight whatsoever, hes done a Terry Russell and accepted the brown envelope. Wouldn't surprise me if he brings out a statement saying speedway is not viable at the showground, playing right into the developers hands.
  3. Massive meeting for Scunny, need to keep this within 10 points to stand a chance at the aggregate point. Poole will definitely win at Edinburgh so need the aggregate point hear.
  4. I have collated them myself, every year a figure is quoted but I cannot verify it is an offical figure there is certain amount of rounding going on.
  5. 2011, 43,640 2012, 38,000 2013, 38,760 2014, 41,800 2015, 40,750 2016, 40,974 2017, 40,800 2018, ? 2019, 33,583 2022, 19,000 2023, 25,000

    Play-off picks

So unless oxford win at Glasgow (unlikely imo), Poole get choice of opponents. They will definitely pick Edinburgh/Birmingham but will they pick Scunny or Redcar..... I guess it will be Scunny.
  7. Anyone hear what the attendance was?

    Britain's Best Tracks Ranked

Scunthorpe is imo the best track, certainly beter than Redar Glasgow and peterborough. Not seen much of Workington yet. Brimingham, wolverhampton and Mildenhall too low, leicester, kings lynn and berwick too high.
  9. I can't see how a golf driving range, an all weather football pitch and gym is of similar nature or size to the showground. I think the developer will be trying to argue point K, its no longer viable.
  10. What does that mean though.... I thought cardiff was out of contract after this year hence the rumours of a move to belle vue?
  11. Each to his own but you are on your own.

    Sheffield Tigers 2023

Do last years playoff meetings count towards his average?

    Sheffield Tigers 2023

Will Lambet receive a new average in time for october 1st i.e the final. Sheffield beat belle vue in the final, lambet scoring a max, its written in the stars.........#onlyinspeedway
  14. Am I right in saying cardiff was out of contract this year and I assume next years event is just a 1 year contract.
  15. The best races were near the beginning, the racing is never going to be Scunthorpe or Belle Vue but it was still decent. The pros and cons of holding a Belle Vue v Cardiff GP gets discussed every year, as long as lessons have been learned from 2022 track, Cardiff comes out on top everytime imo.
  16. I completely agree, I really enjoyed it. Only criticism was the music was too loud and too much dance cam and not enough rider interviews.
  17. Track looked perfectly smooth, should be a belter. Not sure jack holder looked very comfortable holding onto the bike.
  18. Seems the track passed the test. https://www.fimspeedway.com/news/british-stars-give-cardiff-2023-track-their-seal-of-approval
  19. Lebedevs in for Thomsen. I guess Jack Holder must be testing his wrist today.

    Rubbish, there are loads.

    CLRC

Because he is refusing to ride with no reason. He could easily get a flight back from Poland.

    Lengthy ban?
  23. I appreciate racers get it wrong sometimes but the frequency Claus collides with another rider is unacceptable.
