    'Preparations in winter were intense, but unfortunately at the end, one of the muscles was unluckily damaged. Now he needs a few weeks break to get him back to full fitness. There is no reason to worry, I will join the team at the end of March. Now I will have a short convalescence and in a moment there will be no trace of the injury - explained the younger of the Pawlicki brothers in an interview with falubaz.com.'

    I agree, as long as the rules allow it, Plymouth will go with a short term replacement. With a fair wind Covatti will be back for the league fixtures on the 10th May.

    1 Any rider who has been an FIM GP rider for 2 consecutive seasons within the last 5 seasons (excluding wild card riders and a reserve rider who has competed in 2 or less FIM GP rounds in any one season) 8.00 12.00 this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes

    2 Polish Ekstraliga with an average of 6.00 or above. 7.50 11.25 this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes

    3 • Polish Ekstraliga with an average of between 3.00 and 5.99 • Polish League 1 with a published average of 6.00 or above. 6.00 8.50 this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes

    4 • Polish Ekstraliga with an average of 2.99 or below • Polish League 1 with a published average of 5.99 or below • Polish League 2 with a published average of 6.00 or above • Swedish Elitserian League published average of 6.00 or above. 4.50 6.00 this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes

    5 • Polish League 2 with a published average of 5.99 or below • Under 24 Polish League only • Swedish Elitserian League published average of 5.99 or below • Swedish Alsvensken League • Danish Super League. 4.00 5.00 this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes

    6 Not participated in a professional league 3.50 4.00

     

    So if these rules existed last year, Tarasenko would have come in on an 11.25 instead of 5.

    Brandon Estates won't want to keep bringing back a tweaked application, they will need to add some significant facilities to outweigh the loss of the stadium this will eat into their profit margin. They could bank the land for 10-15 years and hope opposition has disappeared or they could cut their losses and sell up.

    I am pleased with the team, Howarth is decent round the EWR and will do a job at number 1,  as long as people don't compare him to Douglas. Top 5 looks solid but I don't see huge potential for improvement, whether Scunny can challenge for silverware will depend on how well the reserves progress.

    Which makes it 2.92

    Surely the rounding up comes after 2.5% is deducted, i.e round up 2.925 so it will be 2.93.

    Chapman has been adamant that speedway is finished at showground but he is happy for the enthusiastic consortium to put the work in to try and save it. If they are successful, Chapman can get a load more money for the sale of the club. 

    The complete lack of effort by Chapman to save the club himself and then says things like 'All we want is for the club to return to racing', is shameful.
