B.ham had already joined before the agm , so they were not used as expendable pawns like Kings Lynn Have been.

Granted the B.ham decision was an odd choice in the light of those things ,but theres little doubt about the KL "decision". the money would have been better spent keeping B.ham open ,as Kings Lynn were already doing alright in the premier league . what you have now is 2 clubs with suspect futures.

You know what?. you are right whenever anyone mentions speedway outside of speedway circles it's always Belle Vue and it's list of achievements they seem to quote . even in my local pub the conversation would immediately sway to the Aces from Manchester and their list of world championship winning riders. very few people even know that Coventry Still has a team and it 's only 10 miles away . Thank god for belle Vue ,without their benevolence and their world fame . it.s more than likely there would be no speedway at all in the uk . speedway without the world renowned Aces would be like football without Man Utd. now back to the point of the thread the team that no-one knows exists

I would have agreed with that when the famous aces logo was attached to the top of the refs box above the best racetrack in the best stadium in the country . but the aces new home has neither a decent racetrack or decent stadium any longer , just as the aces name is no longer one of the biggest in speedway. If history counted for anything the Aces would not be racing in an empty stadium every week .

10 years ago Belle Vue were the biggest name in speedway , but not anymore, Coventry are now without a doubt .

Tony mole is not daft at all . neither is buster chapman . difference is tony has not been saying for the last few years that he is not interested in the elite league it's too expensive . and tony mole had already joined the elite league before this problem arose . so draw your own conclusions why KL joined the elite when only a few days before were set fair for the premier league .
