Considering that last year Brum sent out a select side at least twice, and on these occasions the opposition refused to change the fixtures! and a few years back in the Prem Lge KL v Brum..... KL suffering injuries..rather than face Brum conveniently had a flood light failure ... Pot, Kettle, Black etc..... how sporting of them!!!! Skornichi deserves injury as retribution for Brum not rearranging the fixture? is that what you are suggesting? Why does this forum attract so many speedway haters... nothing good to say about it. always negative, grinding the sport down Why dont they Sod off... and leave us speedway lovers to our sport.... KIng could not sign or negotiate with Newcastle without the knowledge, approval and input of the Birmingham Management. you can only have 2 D/uppers ( as far as I am aware) King could not join Newcastle unless either Barker or Kennett left, so they got rid of Kennett and saved on loan Fees, Brum will now of course get loan fees for King.... makes good business sense.... Covatti came in to fill the Kennett Gap ..our asset no loan fees required. King could not Join the Diamonds without lowering his average (as far as I understand, any rule book experts confirm) has no one noticed Kings poor performances ?...(allegedly ) lowering his average..... once signed he puts in a 15pt Max against Wolves how unusual is that??? ..he also won the |British semi at Sheffield during his poor run of form ...banged in 14 points and won, but that meet does not count to the averages!!!!!!!!! So far no mention of Danny and Newcastle on the Brum web site, I wonder why that is? I wonder where Drury fits into all this? If King had not joined a Prem side Kennett would have been given longer to sort himself out, doubtless he did not leave Brum empty handed. I am no cynic or conspiracy theorist but I think its plain to see whats been going on and I feel cheated.

What a difference a week makes.. Completely different atmosphere on the terraces lots of enthusiasm, same on track you could see and feel the difference. even our presenter was showing more enthusiasm!!!! Slickly run meeting top marks to the promotion. A good nights entertainment. King back on form but needs his bum kicking for ht 8, riding shot gun for Nico, keeping Wells back he then clears of into the distance leaving NIco vulnerable so letting Wells pass him... what happened to team riding? a win for Nico would have been a big confidence boost. Nice to to see Nico back, rather watch him any day giving 100% than Gordon Bennett. Barker was putting in some laps after the meeting. "You meet the nicest people at Birmingham speedway"

According to the Brummies website Phillips has spent all Easter looking for riders to strengthen the team .........Ill believe it when I see it...

I bet Sponsers "Selco" arn't very happy with "THEIR" teams performance. I think people are being a bit hard on BB, hes a racer and is trying, unfortunately he needs someone to sort his head out ......but Phil Morris has gone BB was on the center green watching the starts...... not the actions of someone who wasn't trying. Talked to several people tonight who are more in the know than me and they all said the same..... there is absolutely no team spirit, half the riders dont even talk to each other. We have a team manager who cannot generate that spirit or motivate the riders. Its not just Kennett who should be on his way but the team manager as well.............

Well I've tried to remain positive but as soon as I heard we had signed Kennett I new what sort of season we would have, the most unexciting Brummies team in years ...and our biggest defeat since reopening .......The only bright spot has been Skornicki's home form. KL on good Fri....gawd help us...
