  1. Shame on you for not joining us for a drink in the bar! Tut!
  2. Funny Baggy, at work/home we've only had one little shower, though it's looked miserable all day.
  3. Well, I just had this text from KL Stars: Bright skies here all day, no rain forecast. Tapes up @ 7.45 We look forward to seeing you all later.
  4. Maybe the announcer/presenter at the meeting will call out the names of clubs, asking fans to cheer to show that clubs support? I'm looking forward to this. We've made our donation online, printed out the confirmation all ready, and our first visit to Lakeside planned. Hope the meeting is all it should be. Hope all of you that've done it online like me have your confirmations printed out ready to take Friday
  5. Forecast not as bad as it could be... showers through the day, clearing up in the evening... maybe time to get my thermals out, though?!
  6. Good to see it's a double header. Hopefully the weather will be better Sunday.

    Mildenhall V I.o.w 23rd Sept ....off

I'd certainly prefer a double header. Otherwise I expect it would be on the following Sunday, and I'm afraid I won't be flying back early from Torun to watch!

    Young Stars

Can't comment on why meetings haven't been ridden etc, but I'm looking forward to Wednesday, and will hopefully be at most if not all of the remaining NL Young Stars home fixtures.
  9. Believe this finished IOW 47 - 43 Stoke.
  10. Any idea how much entry is to this meeting?
  11. Any idea on the entry costs for this meeting?

    King's Lynn Stars 2013

I think I'll wait and see how the end of the season pans out before considering 2013. Might as well enjoy what we've got at the moment before worrying about next year, winters long enough to do that in.
  13. But it is Rye House, not my favourite of places... Though I'd be going more to watch the second meeting than anything else. Hmm... decide in the morning me thinks! Is the forecast decent?
  14. Actually considering going to this double header... what to do!
  15. Which is a wee bit late for a meeting to finish for both fans and riders, perhaps more so for riders who then have to pack up, shower, drive home etc
  16. Makes much more sense; I checked it originally when I first heard it was a double header and was still listed as 7pm, can't remember where. Much more sensible
  17. Whatever the result, looking forward to cheering on King's Lynn. Though I confess, I will be disappointed if Lynn don't win (not that I expect it).
  18. What time is the first meeting, I thought it was at 7pm?
  19. Hoping Isle of Wight can get a good result for this one, may be tough though. Hope Steven Jones enjoys his debut on the Island.
  20. The day after Cardiff an invite-only Grasstrack meeting takes place in Lincolnshire, with 500cc solo grasstrack bikes and 1000cc sidecars. The top riders in both fields are invited from both the UK and international fields to put on a spectacular days racing. For any travelling I believe there is camping offered, with the GP on screen the Saturday night. Certainly proves to be a superb days racing. More information http://grasstrack.net/wainfleet-poachers-2012-12.html A few familiar names from speedway participating such as Theo Pjiper, Joe Screen and Danny Warwick. If you're in the area rather than at Cardiff - why not?
  21. 51-39 to Isle of Wight.

    Mildenhall V Dudley Sun 19th Aug 16:30

I wasn't there and all I'm reading now is bickering going around in circles. Anyone care to explain to me what this disagreement is about?

    Mildenhall V Dudley Sun 19th Aug 16:30

As a neutral, I'd quite like to see Dudley just edging this meeting.

    Nl Fours

What fuss? I think I actually mis-read your post in the first place, as I thought you'd meant he was originally in the line up for the fours, rather than the Poacher.

    Nl Fours

Ah, but when did he commit to racing in the Poacher? If he had committed to racing in the Poacher before the fours were rained off... then it's not black and white.
