    Quantity Of Viewers

Stomat i think the average for British matches is around 1500-2000 with Swindon Poole and Coventry getting over 2000, and Lakeside and Reading sometimes getting less than 1000 .

    Wimbledon Memories

Always remember the team of '67...Dugard , Hedge , Luckhurst , Nygren etc., and Briggo easily winning either a British final or semi-final that year ?

Hitchy was one of my favourites, a real battler....partner to the great Briggo in the late 60s . Heard he has ill health now . Pete Munday always seemed to score a maximum in the wet...last I heard he was living in his native Southampton area , in the motor trade , although i'm sure Rob Bamford will inform if incorrect . Keener still lives in Upper Minety , Killer in the Swindon area . Martin Ashby still has his motor cycle repair business in Marlborough . Barry Duke still lives in Penhill ,stilll attends the Abbey . Broady is a regular ,still lives locally has a building business . The great man Briggo attends the occasional meeting . Don't know about Pete Jackson though ? Great team and great characters...half were local lads who took great pride in wearing the Robin , and the last team to bring the title to Wiltshire 40 years ago .

Was chatting to Keener and Martin Ashby on the terraces at Blunsdon couple of months ago..both nice modest geezers .
  12. Seems a poor quality line-up compared to last year ...but bruv will be getting the Swindon prog board out at Gillman to observe the 2 New ROObins McGowan and Batchelor . Cant see there being a 6000 capacity lock-out at Mildura this time without the 2 local superstars Adams and Crumpie . The Aussie fans are being short-changed . Lindgren must start favourite ..sure Screeny Holder Doyle Batchelor McGowan will be thereabouts .
