If money has been paid to secure release from BSPA event then anyone to whom it is beneficial to should be asked to explain their action and appropriate sanctions imposed. Why does Sheffield beating Edinburgh reduce Panthers play off chances? To me it actually improves them as Edinburgh are the most likely team to be caught! Realistically it is yet another fictitious excuse created by Rathbone to justify his actions. I sympathise with Panthers fans, the vast majority deserve better than this, at least some are now questioning the actions/motives of their "saviour" - you might well be doing it more and more!

Why? I don't see him as a number 5 as yet so it has to be 2,3 or 4. Each of those gets to ride in a "reserve" based heat, so don't see why it matters which one. You could have an argument for having a strong rider at 3 as there potentially have the last chance of tactical ride. Also certain riders prefer not to be in heat 1 JBA seems content with that role
