Can't wait to see the tactical genius moves of Sudden Sam....

I can see this being an inconsistent side. Some weeks they might all click, but others they'll get a stuffing through lack of heat winners.

Difference is that the council own the stadium, not Osborne. He is a leaseholder, nothing more. If the stadium lease came up, Matt Ford has said already he would form a consortium to get the lease.I get that. But prime development land and a 'promise' from Poole Motorsports will tempt the council pocket...

Not that I believe that anything will happen.
Spot on!

Maybe this is finally the stadium Osborne promised for Reading. Two birds with one stone..
Man's a genius
I just hope the BSPL have taken the Robins' licence off ice and removed Russell from any control - but somehow i doubt it!

What final phase of houses? The car park is being built on and the stand / sound barrier are far from complete - no services, no drainage and just the support for the barrier.
Osborne played a classic "i need more funding to complete the stadium" and the previous SBC bent over..

Sadly reports today that former Belle Vue, St Austell, Newcastle and New Zealand rider Bob Duckworth passed away on Wednesday. Bob was 94.

Conversations i've had suggest otherwise, but it would be extremely disappointing if it is the case.

There is a very good track, with a brand new stadium, in a town that has supported a Speedway team for decades in more than decent numbers...
Surely all they now need is a promoter to run a Speedway team there...?
Wonder why someone hasn't come forward?
You would have thought it wasn't too difficult to suss out wouldn't you?
Whilst the licence remains with that git Russell, we aren't going to move forward.
First job is to get him away from any association with Swindon Speedway and kill off the fake Swindon Motorsports sham.

The penny is slowly dropping at BSPL towers...

In more recent times Rune Holta reached 4th in the World afaik, but could he have took it a stage further with UK experience?
Tommy Nilsson might well be another..
Or Mikael Blixt

As he didn't prioritise it, Simon Wigg never reached the individual heights in speedway that his early years promised.

It's a race to the bottom. Decisions made on trying to get a broader audience across Europe and not on racing ability.
All the dropped riders, bar perhaps Kim Nilsson, are better than the new ones
