    Wolves V Ipswich 15/7/19

Cue Ipswich 5-1 in heat 1.

    Plymouth 2019

Perfectly dry and bright weather all day here. Forecast was for good weather. I don't know where this 'adverse' weather is.
  3. 847084

    Wolves 2019

Jacob does ride for Dackarna tonight.

    Wolves 2019

Jacob Thorsell 10 paid 12 from five in Poland yesterday.
  5. £2 to pay with last week’s readmission ticket, free for juniors. As per OS.

    Your club's all-time top team

RidersI have seen : Olsen Ermolenko NIelsen Woffinden PK Lindgren MIkael Max Tempted by Dennis Sigalos but stuck with longer serving Wolves riders.

    Wolves 2019

There is little or no moderation and the lunatics have largely taken over. The sensible members get shouted down or abused. It seems standard for this country at present. People shouting at each other. Anyway, Happy New Year Bruno, enjoy your speedway in ‘19.

    Wolves 2019

Of course! Think before posting next time. Perhaps tautology is what I had in mind.

    Wolves 2019

Isn't 'pointless tweet' an example of oxymoron?

    Wolves v Somerset 9/7/18

Woffinden’s low average in 2009 played a large contributory factor in winning the play off as did his appearance in place of Kylmakorpi two years ago. Looking at the starting seven in 2018 it was / is difficult to see where the improvement was likely to occur.

    Wolves 2018

If you discount double uppers there are less than 100 separate riders currently in Premiership and Championship teams. Enough for 13 teams. The writing is on the wall, and has been for years.
  12. Late fitness decision on Kyle Howarth, R/R if he doe not ride.
  13. Always thought Eddie Ingells was a good rider who we should have seen more of.

    RIP Ivan Mauger OBE

Terrible news. Absolute legend, an overused word but wholly deserved in his case. RIP

    Wolves 2018

Some might think the word 'for' is superfluous here.
  16. Meeting preview on the Wolves site does not list either team. Draw your own conclusions.
  17. The Wolves site's preview today comments on how many riders have already put equipment in storage as well as those who have departed the UK.
  18. I would agree normally but apparently Wolves have little or no choice in this, it is simply a case of availability.
  19. Confirmed that Schlein and Howarth are both out injured. Tomorrow Wolves line up as follows: Nick Morris Ricky Wells Scott Nicholls RR Sam Masters Mark Riss Nathan Greaves. No decisions yet on Max Fricke or Craig Cook.
  20. And Rory Schlein has withdrawn after a nasty fall. Possibly a broken wrist. To be confirmed.
  21. Presumably Kyle Howarth will be turning out for Sheffield next Wednesday. Very difficult to get anywhere near excited about this meeting.
  22. Disappointing from a subjective point of view but objectively a positive presentation of speedway for a change. A genuine last heat decider. Many congratulations to Swindon for their victory. A word on Chris Harris, he used three bikes last night all to no effect. It happens.
  23. Agreed. However, Rory as third heat leader sounds good: and Wolves seem to build teams top down. I imagine PA has been impressed so far.
  24. One outcome of this rather astonishing Final is that Rory Schlein may well be Wolves captain in 2018.
