Subedei 0 Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) They eliminated the Good Soldier did they? I didn't see it. Who won? I'm guessing it was Charles IV, Holy Roman emperor and Bohemian king. Technically, a German kaiser (the Holy Roman emperor, in later years an Austrian Habsburg until Napoleon disbanded the empire, was the Kaiser and it was only after Prussia defeated Austria in 1866 that the Prussian king became kaiser), but actually his father was king of Luxembourg. That said, during the time of the Holy Roman empire and later the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Czech lands and especially the cities were heavily Germanised as a means of maintaining control. Paragon 8 Posted June 18, 2005 Me and Wifey going out in the car, we have decided this year to stand up un the back straight rather than pay 3 times as much to sit in the stand, Does anyone else feel that prague tickets have got expensive lately? The first year I went I paid less than £10 for a seat, now the seats in the same place are £
