Phil 303 Posted June 10, 2003 I really wish that I was going this year, but never mind. Last year we dressed up as school girls for the Cardiff GP and when we were in Sweden we were dressed up as nuns! Gives the riders a bit of a shock when they see you dressed like that! GOOD LUCK HOWIE, SHOVE STEADY LIKE HE DOES YOU! Suerly you must have been sent some free tickets by now after writing the above.
AndyDB 1 Posted June 10, 2003 Would I look out of place in my Netherlands football top? Come on Maik and Theo, get on into these GP's, I need an excuse to wear it!!! Okay maybe too late for this weekend but there's always next decade....
Sloop 0 Posted June 10, 2003 DutchBoy, there are no Scottish riders in the GP, but watch for a St Andrew's Cross at the end of the back straight ; front row, upper tier 8)
Liontamer 202 Posted June 10, 2003 DutchBoy, there are no Scottish riders in the GP Sorry if this comes as a bit of a wee shock Dutchboy, but Scott Nicholls disney count.
Papa Bazarou 0 Posted June 10, 2003 I'll be there with my well travelled St George Cross, complete with COVENTRY SPEEDWAY wording and fighting Bee - it can also be seen in the back window of the Supporters club coach on Saturday as well as somewhere on the upper tier of the stadium. Countries visited on the 2002 tour are : England - all over Wales - Cardiff Scotland - Edinburgh France & Belgium - Heusden Zolder Norway - Oslo & Hamarr Denmark - Vojens Czeckoslovakia - Prague Slovenia I think - can't remember if I leased it out ! Australia (speedway GP and the Ashes) Hong Kong if you include the stop over and soon to visit Germany & Poland in 2003. Eventually it will be ceremoniously planted on the moon
richy b 0 Posted June 11, 2003 There will be a wicked Mikael Max banner draped on the seats on the 3rd bend bottom row.(not mine unfortunately :-( ) It took a week to make and was shown at the Green on Monday. Look out for it, i may be biased but i doubt if there will be a better one on display on saturday. (nice one Clare 8) )
