Rybnik World Cup Meeting

Could anyone tell me the best way to get to Rybnik from the UK? Is it far to drive from Krakow? Is it hard to find?

The nearest airport will be Katowice.

All I know is it's south of the country, near enough on the border. Good stadium seen clips of the U21 World Cup Qualifying Round hold there whilst in Bydgoszcz.

Rybnik is about 40km from Katowice. If you're thinking of fly/drive, then Katowice, Krakow and Wroclaw are the nearest airports in Poland (in that order). Pick the cheapest flight, hire a car and drive. Wroclaw and Krakow are connected to Katowice via a new fast motorway (Wroclaw-Katowice 2 hours, Krakow-Katowice 1 hour).

Alternatively Ostrava in The Czech Republic is only 50km from Rybnik and I believe that you can fly there from several UK airports.
