Ray Rocket 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Hello, There has been in the past as well as in recent time, talk of the following tracks starting, restarting or whatever. However, news seems to have gone dry. If anyone has any news, it would be great to have an update. The 'tracks' in question are: Recently Spoken About Tracks ----------------------------------- Wimbledon Weymouth Birmingham Lesser Spoken About Tracks --------------------------------- Hull Long Eaton Wales Halifax Cradley Heath Yeovil Exeter Boston (new stadium) Regards. greyhoundp 990 Posted March 25, 2006 Birmingham; are awaiting a decision by the Planning comitee. Long Eaton; have drawn up plans. Weymouth;have to carry out nesecary works, and then submit a new PA. Exeter;have a potential new site at Haldon Racecourse, have to submit a PA. The remainder;Boston,Wimbledon,Hull,Wales,Halifax,Cradley Heath,Yeovil, and Cornwall, all of those still have to find potential sites. That is it as far as i am aware with some further forwards than others,i am sure others will post updates about the ongoing situations. There are also at least two and possibly three other venues where the people involved prefer at this moment to keep negotiations private until they judge the time is right to put in the public domain.
