I'm assuming, BTW, that this circuit was nowhere near as muddy as the TV dramatisation of the 1950s White City Athletics track shown in that ITV murder mystery of the year before last, 'Jericho'..?? That circuit was, of course, actually the Wimbledon Speedway one of 2005!!
