I'm having trouble downloading it because my computer does not have Microsoft Excel

Brilliant sheet Steve BUT I cant write in the semi finalists as it seems to be protected.

 

Am I doing something wrong or is everyone else using this programme having the same problem.

I'm not on my own computer Sandie so cant look and see but have you tried putting in the rider number? Just a wee thought though as I say I cant look at the sheet just now!

that wouldnt work either unfortunately. I kept hitting the key, harder and harder but it still didnt work.

Sandie, read the right hand side of the sheet, enter the numbers allocated and it will work.

Oops Senior Moment - I read that line and kept trying to put their number into the gate boxes.

 

Too much alcomohol - it was the GREY box!!!!!!

In the rider list of the spreadsheet, it seems to be protected, and needs a password to un-protect ?? Or is it that you yourself update this ? Or most likely am I doing something wrong

The whole thing is protected to safeguard against someone messing up their copy.

 

The 'rider list' page has rider's listed that don't need editing, so they are protected...but the new riders can be added, as those cells are not protected.

 

So I don't really know what you're trying to do

But, if for some bizarre reason you wanted to have some weird GP of your own with just you and a few mates names in there , then you'll have to save another new copy and put your names in from number 16 onwards and enter those instead of the real ones !

this is a great programme, however i think that there should be a feature whereby it tells you the top 8 in the meeting on it, as it gets confusing from reading the chart at the top. Im not saying that this programme is completly crap at all, i just think that this would be a nice feature to have, dont worry if its imposible to do. Cheers

A bit late from me, but just to say how much your spreadsheet has added to my enjoyment (and understanding) of this year's GP series.
