Nev Riseley 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Radio Fremantle 107.9fm Let's Talk Speedway Racing Show did a live cross to the Bankstown Sports Club in Sydney yesterday evening, 26 July 08 and spoke to speedway historian Dennis Newlyn. The occasion was to mark the induction of Australian Speedway greats into the National Association of Speedway Racing (NASR) Hall of Fame (HOF) for 2008. The cross can be heard on the station archive. Go to Saturday, select 2000. This is the first cross where Dennis reveals the first six of the nine inductees. Our second cross was done at aproximately 2055 and Dennis concluded with the names of the final three. Speedway motorcycle riders were included this year after being left out at the first HOF inductions last year. Feedback would be appreciated.
