I had an e-mail from Phil today and he says that he is not coming over for this. Shame i was hoping to see him myself.

I agree a line up of nobodys apart from joe of course ,after all neils years in speedway i would have thought the line up would have been much better than this .all the teams he rode for over the years must have thrown up some bigger names than this, what about stoney ,and johno from long eaton for a start?

These riders and short track in the interval won't tempt many out of their armchairs on a sunday evening in october .

On the contrary I think this is an excellent line-up..: some of the most exciting performers currently riding: befitting a Collins family occasion!

I understand Les is set to ride in the Short Track too..

Which, of course, isn't going to please you, oh whipper...: still never mind, I'm sure that armchair of yours is comfortable!!

For my part, I'm more than happy to drive up from London to support British Speedway's longest-serving rider.in a much-deserved second career benefit meeting..

Brilliant line up, just a shame its a team meeting really. Testimonials are betetr as individuals rather than made up teams that nobody has any affinity towards.
