Fourentee 987 Posted September 24, 2010 It still should never have been announced as the first. Sure. But I am (and this is a first) going into bat for Peter York as he seemed to be getting the blame.
Sandie 53 Posted September 24, 2010 Sure. But I am (and this is a first) going into bat for Peter York as he seemed to be getting the blame. No blame for Peter on this one. He doesn't pick the dates - someone has to tell him. It was more like - this is the date and then - "oh no, I cant do that". "Im having my hair done that day" etc So the Thursday it is then. colincooke 0 Posted September 24, 2010 I think it was just a case of it being agreed before it was checked with all the riders & then it became apparent that some we're doing the Czech Golden Helmet weekend.
sandking072 151 Posted September 24, 2010 Not his fault. The reserve date was nodded through quickly on a "should be OK" basis by the promotions and it was only detailed checks with the riders afterwards that threw up the problem. Fair enough. Apologies to the much maligned Mr York.

Steve Turner 0 Posted September 26, 2010 Those line-up's are what they were for the 23rd of September meeting. To save any further confusion I'll close this thread and someone can open a new one for the re-staging, on Thursday 30th September.
