Davey Watt will be appearing in his second Skornicki Testimonial when he lines up in Adam’s big meeting at Wolverhampton on Sunday 27th March.

The Aussie star says “I rode with Adam at Poole but I’ve ridden with him before in Sweden years ago, and known him through Maliniak Products, with our race suits. He’s a guy I got to know gradually over time, he’s a great guy. I rode in the Polish testimonial that he had in Poznan in 2008, and was happy to be part of that and of course am happy to be part of this one as well.

“Poole has always been a lot about team spirit and he was definitely an important part of that, a great character and someone you’d always be happy to have in your team.

“He’s a showman and a great guy with the fans, and the riders like him as well. It should be a great day for him; I certainly hope it is.”

The Poole side line up against teams representing Wolverhampton, Belle Vue and Oxford on the day.

** We are happy to include EDWARD KENNETT in the Adam Skornicki Testimonial line up **

There are a number of riders who have been seriously let down by the problems in the Elite League, but no-one has attracted greater sympathy than young English rider Eddie Kennett.

Although he is without a club at the moment he has nevertheless committed to the Adam Skornicki Testimonial at Wolverhampton on 27th March without hesitation.

He says “I’ve known Adam quite a few years while I’ve been over in England though we’ve never ridden in the same team.

“I’ve always got on well with him, we’ve all had a joke and a laugh with him. We’ve had some good races, he’s a hard but fair rider and I’ve always enjoyed racing with him.”

Eddie attracted considerable praise for his professional turnout at Telford even though he doesn’t have a club at the moment. “I always try to make myself look presentable with my stuff, I spend a lot of time on it to keep it in good condition.

“I’m working at the moment and it looks like I’ll have to wait a few weeks into the season before I can race, unless anything happens. It’s a waiting game.”

Ronnie Correy had a few spins out after Mondays match as he prepares for Sunday (and 2 Dream Team matches) and he clearly still knows how to handle the Monmore Green track.

At 44 years of age he could still do a job at reserve in the Elite League ..... his races with Sam may be show boating races, but they will still clock fast times. .... Would be good to see these two take on Ricky and Tyson !!

After the Birmingham match, it will be interesting to see PK against Freddie, Tai, Ty and Ludvig

Will this be the first outing for some of the Bees 2011 team ? .... Andersen and Kennett ... how ironic their first appearance is in the Poole race jackets ;) ;)

1. Taxi I reckon will cost about a fiver from the train station... as for directions you can walk straight down the A41 and it's sign posted Monmore Green stadium, I would guess about a mile on the left! will take a good 20minutes to walk it!

2. PRICES (Same as Wolves matches (except prgramme))

ADULTS - £16

CONCESSIONS - £12

CHILDREN ( aged 6-15) - £4.

CHILDREN (aged 5 and under) - FREE

Programme £4 (28 page full colour)

Another possible option is the Midland Metro, the nearest stop is Priestfield, which is only a short walk from the stadium.

Cheap day return should be £2.80
