Scunny Stag 72 Posted May 17, 2012 If there are any parents who would like their son or daughter to be mascot for the night for the Scunthorpe Scorpions then please contact me via email (richard@scunthorpespeedway.com) or on 07832-402167. They will need a motorbike, but not necessarily a speedway bike, and around fifteen minutes before tapes up they will be able to have a four laps on track. Then they will be allowed to lead the teams out on parade before watching the meeting from the pits if they so desire. Should the Scorpions win then the mascot will be able to go out with the team on a couple of victory laps of honour. All this will be done in a Scorpions race jacket and is free of charge for them plus up to two adults and one other child. Naturally spaces are limited.
