Redcar V Workington 27.06.13

Recommended Posts

Well after a disastrous start mainly due to the state of the track it turned out to be a really enjoyable meeting with each and everyone of our lads putting on a good show, must say that now we have Tero back we look to be a lot more balanced side. We were slow to start but once we got dialled in we provided the winner in every race from heat 8 onwards with some great passing notably from Rusty and Richard so it was always going to be an up hill struggle for the Bears. Not forgetting some great vocal support from the traveling fans, very happy bus on the way home.

Fair play to the track staff to finally get the meeting on with the state of the track, thought we were getting sent home at one point. £16 and £2 for a programme very pricey, luckily was worth it :) Well done boys well deserved 4 points . A little tip to the bears fans, when your team get a 5-1 or a heat win a little bit of encouragement wouldn't go a miss to your riders , hardly a squeak when your lads won a heat

Come on the Comets

Agree with the above posts... do the redcar fans not cheer and back their lads anymore it wasnt good and far far from what have given them the reputation of one of the best supported british clubs but now you can hear tumbleweed blowing past when your riders are announced!? Take a tip from the worky fans did you hear them.....;-)

Seriously i hope the supporters start being a bit more vocal. And another point does havvy senior ever stop? The guy doesnt half work hard on racenights doing all sorts and as always he was very friendly on our entry.

Good racing well done the comets top of the table! And again please bears fans find your voices will ya.....

We've always been quite a reserved lot at home (well my mob has anyway) preferring to make the noise on our travels but to be fair after the way things have been with the track prep, promotion, blah blah people have just about had their fill, you only have to read the bears forum to see how ticked off everybody is.

We got a 4-2 in the first heat and a 5-1 in heat 3 after standing waiting for a full hour while the track was having the work done that should of been done before the meeting, apart from those 2 heats what the hell else was their too shout about ? It was all prosesional 3-3
