Nothing mentioned on Sky news or BBC about any delay.

Chaos on the roads has caused severe delays for motorists heading in and out of Coventry and Warwickshire this morning.

The most serious incident involved a four car pile-up on the southbound carriageway of the M40 between junction 14 for Warwick and 13 for Bishop’s Tachbrook.

Ambulance officials say the whole motorway had to be closed while three people were sent to hospital for treatment.

A woman in her 20s was taken to Coventry's University Hospital with neck and chest injuries and two others went to Warwick Hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find four cars that had been in collision, one of which had suffered significant damage to the windscreen.

“There was one patient from that vehicle, a female in her 20s, who was assessed by crews and treated for neck, back and chest injuries.

“She was immobilised with the use of a neck collar and spinal board and had to be carefully cut free from the vehicle with the help of the fire service.

“Once free, she was transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire on alert.

“She remained fully conscious throughout and her injuries are not thought to be life threatening. The driver of the car was uninjured.

“Two other drivers, both male patients thought to be in their 30s, were immobilised as a precaution and taken to Warwick Hospital for further assessment.

“A further two male patients were assessed and treated for minor neck and shoulder injuries before being discharged at scene.”

The Highways Agency also said at least one person had to be cut from their vehicle as delays of over 30 minutes were reported.

Two lanes were expected to be closed until this afternoon.

Elsewhere, on the M40, a broken down vehicle caused delays on the junction 15 sliproad - adding to the problems in the area.

There was also a serious accident in the roadworks area on the M1 northbound between junction 21a for Leicester and junction 22 for Ashby De La Zouche, in Warwickshire. Traffic problems were also reported along the southbound stretch of the M1 in the area as a vehicle broke down close to junction 18 for Rugby.

The M6 was also hit by delays after one lane was closed following an accident on the northbound carriageway between junction three for the A444, Nuneaton, and junction 3A for Coleshill. Delays were also reported on the M6 southbound between junctions six and five following another accident.

On the M42, another accident shut one lane northbound between junction four for Shirley and junction five for Solihull.

I dont know who has organised the draft this year but its turned out like British Speedway in general. Auty, Garritty, Newman fast track riders ?? lol you may as well include all British riders its a total farce.. Poole will pick Newman and am i correct in thinking they have last pick of Tier 1 but 1st pick of Tier 2 ?.

All of the Tier 1,s should be in the full 1 to 5s, and Tier 2 really should be the Fast Track riders..its a complete joke, FAST Track for riders who have been around for years, what a farce..

i think if Poole protect Newman they then get last pick in tier 2

from what I read, the other 2 will then become guests for all 8 teams if any tier 1 rider is missing a meeting

Bees - Garrity

Stars - Kerr

And the other 4 teams now choose

Are there only 6 teams in the EL 2015?
