Gerhard Engine

That's quite an accusation on a public forum 😮

Harris was only prepared to change his mind in exchange for a pretty substantial inducement, which GTR were not prepared to pay.

As I put on other thread where this was posted;

I assume you have evidence for these comments levelled against Harris....

You may have mistaken that there had been an ASH-TECH stamp on the engine case as the manufacture.

It's never been so that ASH-TECH have manufactured a speedway engine, they're just and always have been a GM tuner

YES...

I have always found Bomber to be very straightforward and honest, I struggle to believe that he would put out a false statement.

YES...

Show us the evidence then.

You also posted that you would be surprised if Harris gets another chance in these engines. However Gerhard tweeted a message of support to Harris a couple of hours before Cardiff.

Chris Harris makes quite a lot of the people speaking out of turn on Social Media.

Are your ears burning Philip?

#37 pretty much says that some people are telling porkies.

Especially regarding money and inducements.

Perhaps someone could do a Hancock v Pedersen 'tribute' in next weeks comic.

Harris v Risiing.

CHRIS is quite entitled to use whatever engines he wants and certainly isn't obligated to use GTRs.

However, Gerhard travelled to Vojens specifically so that Chris could use the engine that served him so well at King's Lynn but (fact) he chose not to even practice on it.

Even so Marcel drove from Vojens to Wolverhampton in order that Chris could have a GTR available for the British Final.

Gerhard then travelled from Switzerland to Cardiff with engines for Chris, who had indicated that he wanted to at least try one. It was only when he was there (fact) that Chris said he preferred to use his GMs and didn't need the GTRs. Again, that was a choice he was fully entitled to make and was probably understandable given his recent Elite League form but given the time and effort Marcel had made to get them there might he at least not tried one in practice?

You said you have evidence? Anybody can write the word FACT in a forum post.

Marcel seems fine with him as Gerhard have liked his tweets about coming to do testing for them soon. But different to what you implied in your first post on the matter

The point is you said that Bomber wanted an inducement to ride GTR, and that it was unlikely he would be used by GTR again as he had let them down, so let's not miss that point as you have the evidence....

#37 makes specific points as regard inducements.

I know of only one person that has stated in the public forum that they were made, and rejected, as being inadequate.

There is no clarification on this matter here.

.

Similarly Cardiff.

Some well informed person let slip that the attendance at Cardiff was 40,750.

All, of whom, did not have an engine to sell to anyone.

Yet Marcel only travelled there from Switzerland - via Calais, I will have you know!

All because of Chris Harris. That is all.

If it wasn't for that he would have been tucked up with Heidi in his Alpine idyll without any need at all to go to the GP.

Lesson number 178 in 'How to spin a story'.
