Main Man 222 Posted August 25, 2015 Birmingham No. 8 Robert Parker, who crashed out in a simple fall at Coventry in an MDL meeting on Friday is out for the rest of the season. Initial diagnosis was a dislocated thumb and a possible broken scaphoid bone in the wrist . X-rays did not confirm this due to the swelling but the 19 year old, who was due to represent Coventry in the MDLRC at Scunthorpe next Monday, went for further examinations on Monday. The long bone in his right thumb, the metacarpal has snapped and it is not a clean break and there is tendon damage. He underwent an operation on Tuesday which ends his 2015 season. Coventry are permitted to name a replacement for Parker for the MDLRC.
