Hamish McRaker 601 Posted June 3, 2016 Intriguing possibility, an amalgamation of some kind. Could be the best chance of longer term survival especially in the current context, and that includes the future of the Elite league. Remember there are 3 teams involved here. Anything's possible and anyone who says "over my dead body" needs to understand the reality of where the main power and influence now resides in the European scheme of things, and it's full effects. Leicester and Coventry seem to have their own different problems, and this could provide a solution to them, the question as always is would it be a lasting one. And any comparisons with 1983 are completely irrelevant to today's situation.
gimli27 54 Posted June 6, 2016 As a Poole supporter i really want speedway to win and the bees to still be at Brandon but if it means the likes of Bomber and Garrity etc still race albeit a combined team its the lesser of two evils
