New day.

New meeting.

Middleditch once again failing to get the best out of his riders.

Until Middleditch leaves then Pirates fans can expect more of the same.

Genuine question - what do you think he should he be doing ?

No, you know what i mean.  In real terms, tonight, as a team manager, what should he be doing ?

Looks like Stewart D never prepared the track tonight when you see WORRALLS score

Shouting at them.

Telling them the truth.

Stop making excuses for them.

Put some pressure on them to perform.

And a whole lot more.

The days of a manager properly shouting and tearing into a rider are pretty much behind us.

I agree that he gives them too much slack in the press more often than not tho.

Riders nowadays are so much in a self centred bubble that very few would actually give two hoots what a manager says to them at a meeting.

This is all down to Middleditch.

Tonight's performance backs up everything I said on the Belle Vue v Poole thread.

How many times have we been hammered at home in the new era when Middlo's managerial skills have finally been put to the test?

I'm just being honest about Middleditch.

He's only been successful when he's had teams consisting of at least 2 world class riders.

Time to go imo. It's consistently bad every year now. It's not a one off. The manager has to take the blame.
