Speedway's pioneering years

Crystal Palace was one of speedway's main tracks in the pioneer days of the late 1920s into the early 1930s. Respected speedway historian Norman Jacobs wrote  an  excellent book on the  club. Here's another smaller snippet I have found relative to the Palace and its speedway days.
