Well done to the Leicester Speedway Supporters Club for organising a coach to Ipswich allowing more fans to travel.

A good win for the Foxes, about the best you can expect from that team and it's nice to see them finally do it. Still some issues, obviously, such as the second-best rider wearing the #2 race jacket and two 1-5s in the most vital heats, but you have to enjoy it while you can! Still a lovely place to watch speedway from the grandstand!

Its sad to see Worky struggling with crowds after the 1999 comeback year. Always great travelling fans, travelled in numbers and who can forget the support they gave Stoney in the GP. The fact of the matter is that speedway is just not a popular sport anymore.  The older generation who supported it in its glory days aren't there anymore anywhere for obvious reasons and the promotions countrywide have done nothing to bring the sport to a newer audience.

Could do with bringing another exciting rider over next year to add to the ones we already have.    Woryna would be fun to watch..

That’s why there should be no guests in these situations.Clubs do not give a jot regarding fans.Expected to turn up and watch anybody ride for the Team.Thats not credible .IMO crowd levels won’t increase with that attitude.
