People say prospective fans don’t know the difference between Simon & Robert Lambert and more to the point don’t care. They also say it’s mad to run midweek and that meetings should be run at the weekends. The repetitive nature of the league is also off putting as you can play the opposition 3,4 or 5 times a season. Limiting visitors to just once a season will create greater demand. It’s beneficial to run a locally based team that people can identify with and the travel cost of flights isn’t an issue. Put the events on at stadiums that don’t “look like a bombsite” with comfortable padded seating that affords great views of the action. Do all this for £10-£15 instead of the £25 we currently charge with kids free and maybe we can get the sport back to where it should be - or maybe not.  https://britishspeedway.co.uk/team/belle-vue-colts/ -

Fantastic signing best top 2 in the league for me King 8.58 Nicholls 7.88 16.46 23.54 left Barker 6.12 takes that to 17.42 J Thompson 5.86 down to 11.56 for the number 2,6&7 if Plymouth went for a 2.00 rider at 7 then that’s 9.56 for a no 2 and no6  could it be Fredriksen 5.49  and Klima 4.00=9.49 or Tobias Thomsen 4.81 and Alfie Bowtell 4.65 = 9.46  -
But who said “we” can’t afford it? Everyone is guessing. Oxford clearly felt they could afford it whilst running three clubs so let them live or die by their decision, it’s not up to us to decide what companies can and can’t spend their money on…  If there is one league, Ipswich have lost Danny king as he has signed for Plymouth next year. -
Oh heck. Surely you can’t have a worse number one than Plymouth ? -
