  1. Sam wasn’t great as a bandit either but he was forced into the main body of the team. The lad has talent you don’t end up 2x under 21 British champ for nothing. We all complain about a lack of British riders. Then as soon as a young British rider isn’t the next Bewley we moan about that.
  2. fair enough, just seemed odd that it was both suits.
  3. The extra money is possible needed with the very noticeable lack of personal sponsorship on both sets of his Kevlars.
  4. i heard someone saying he changed to his second bike but im not 100%
  5. I always get there for gates opening to beat the queue for burgers for my kids. And the car park was busy then. There very few empty seats in the main stand. I’m not sure where the idea it was poorly attended came from.
  6. I wasn’t there so I don’t know. Regardless he was airlifted to hospital so I wish him all the very best.
  7. It will be up to Connor/his family to decide if and when anything is released not the club. The club asking people to be patient and not speculate seems very reasonable to me.
  8. I’m not sure win at all costs is in our repertoire. Take an available advantage when we can yes as would anyone. I don’t think many existing fans, newcomers or even tigers left feeling shortchanged last night. There wasn’t much overtaking but there was plenty entertainment. I spoke with diamonds fans that will be coming back and a couple from Germany who are following Leon who might not be back and tigers who follow the team everywhere. All were smiling. Crowd seemed ok to me. Back straight had a few gaps but the main stand had people searching for seats.
  9. I had expected that to be the case. I know it hasn’t gone unnoticed by the club. Back straight has been an issue for a long time, entrance end of the grandstand has been getting worse since you handed the reins over to Greg. If some other supporters of all the clubs that use the system want to get together and look at funding updated equipment I’d happily be part of that.
  10. It was forecast for showers so I think the track was prepared intentionally dry. I don’t think they expected to have to do much watering. Regardless it worked to the home advantage which is always the aim. just to add the track team know exactly what bomber likes as they did spend a year preparing the track for him, so well done to them for their part in nullifying that threat.
  11. Glasgow walked out to enemy by Greenday, which was good. It was a mix of all sorts after that. The lovely couple from Newcastle in front were loving the country music. The biggest issue at Berwick was the sound system failing.
  12. We always sit at the same place, the first group of seat in the grandstands close to the loo as my dads legs aren’t great and the speaker cuts in and out intermittently and has for a while.
  13. I have to admit I was a little worried about Sam coming back to Berwick as a reserve, as he was supposed to be last season. I had half thought he could have been the match winner for Glasgow. He had a few really high points as a bandit and I expected him to be a real danger as a tigers reserve. He does have the talent and I expected (still do) him to shine at reserve. Possibly lacking a little confidence after being thrust into the main team last year? I guess it comes down to how much patience Glasgow has for him.
