    • The evolution of me watching speedway on tele. Watch live with printed programme. Watch recorded show with no programme and fast forward through ads.  Watch recorded show and fast forward through adds and other bits between races.  Watch recorded show and fast forward through adds and all but the first lap. I did rewind if anything happened.  Watch recorded show on FF and stopped if anything happened.  Stop watching all together.
    • I think Bowes will come good in time and with Poole being strong they are able to deal with his low scores by his standards .  No need for any rash moves .
    • Should be ok for home meetings , plenty of strong riders on paco , sedge and Kye to fend off away teams
    • With Dan confirming he broke his collarbone last night, do we think Stewart will go down the R/R route rather than guests?  Think latest averages (issue 5 26th Apr) would mean Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth and reserves cover the rides
    • Note Redcar reserves scored 17 paid 20 at worky could be an interesting battle. I like your reserve copper a lot but this week he is extremely busy 5 meetings in 5 days including Poland today, and exam revision, just hope he doesn't burn out
    • I think before bringing in more contrived rules... they should look at the current rules, instead of clobbering Northamptoningham with a no facility facility (absurd) for a rider that has not yet ridden they should allow a full facility especially if it can be proven the rider has actually signed a contract to ride... and if the sport is going to rely so so heavily on the guest system make sure that there are a pool of guests that are contractually obliged to guest. instead we have a system where it's totally up to the rider whether he chooses to accept the booking or not and even if he does he can change his mind at a moments notice... anyway that's getting on to a whole different subject! With Northamptoningham having around £75k on their hip after opening night they should have a bit of cash to splash... but as @paulnolan has already said the natives are restless, it's essential for any noobs to have a winning team, at least at home as they'll be lost before they come to love the subtleties of the sport after a few home losses. At the moment this is a carbon copy of Birmingham... but with crowds, but I fear they'll soon drop off and they'll be reliant on floaters, such as myself.
