Agreed Mike if I was ever a promoter my first job would be to get a survey put together for past fans to complete as to why they no longer go, granted we can guess most of the reasons but I bet there's a host of others to. The big challenge at the moment is even if you came in as a new promoter with say 200k you could burn through in a season without blinking, you put together an attractive side , you move fast to get quality replacements for long term injuries etc you know in the current environment visiting teams will be turning up every other week with 1-2 riders missing, r/r etc. So somehow its not enough to have 2-3 forward looking promoters you need every single one to agree to level up.

I thought Plymouth were supposed to be getting really good gates this season? Where has the money gone?  seriously though, maybe they would be better off being a Nora track/training track? I’m no fan of it but if you can teach youngsters to ride Plymouth, they can ride anywhere.

We could all put our preferred line ups on here and I doubt any of us would name the same septet.    Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Janowski is a world beater capable of a 9, or even 8 point average here anymore.    But for me he’s a seven pointer potentially therefore a point increase. Janowski on a 6 in the middle order makes much more sense than King on 7.27. Not all signings have to Jump out at you, you just have to build smart to be successful. Despite being without doubt our best riders this year, neither King nor Musielak have much (if any) improvement in their averages therefore you don’t sign them for ‘27.

Therefore let them in for free... Give the away track 100 tickets to distribute... Not many, if any sometimes, attend now so minimal loss.. For local derbies that do bring a following, then don't do it...
