I agree. He seems to be someone who has a long term plan (not heard that in speedway before!) and has definite ideas how the sport should be run. Can only be good for the sport in general if he can deliver. Wonder what the other promoters think of him?

I watched Emil Sayfutdinov win from the back after missing the gate at the showground in his first ride, don’t think he’d ever been there before either.

I think many where hoping for a bit of a statement appointment to show a real desire to challenge the next level GoN is a solid choice but not the 'sexy' one I actually think it was all but sorted before the KMc announcement was made and the usual media frenzy that followed was just window dressing
