This is progress... Not long ago it used to be "K-tels Hits Of The 70's" at most tracks... "Not 'alf mate"....

How unfair, the guy does his best with the cards he is dealt, he was merely the bringer of bad news on this occasion. How about you give up all of your spare time to see if you can do a better job and see if you can handle the unwarranted criticism

So far our crowd levels have been much improved on last season, hopefully this continues but as you well know speedway fans are a very fickle bunch.

Wasn't many at Plymouth last year either when the comets were down 🤪 will see how many more fans you have when I'm back down in August 😄

Plus Poland get pretty much free access to work on their tracks. Here we get one afternoon a week with a list of instructions supplied by the landlord of things you can't do while you are working.

One if the main differences is we live on an island, and as a result the weather is more volatile literally depending on which way the wind blows. The track material here is totally different, even riders say it is a different sport. Comparing Polish and British tracks is largely pointless as the type of material available is different here, they also use different tyres, and run bikes with tubeless tyres which we don’t. So the wheels they are racing on are different too.
