I am 99% sure that Picko’s engines are Ashtec Rockets and Mr Howarth just does the services on them like he does for many riders so they don’t have to keep sending them to Poland

Aces won that at a canter, never looked in any doubt really, Spires had only three heat wins all night if I recall correctly. Heat 2 C Cook and Wright in heats 12 & 15? Janowski & Tungate looking anything but heat leaders in this league, that's Oxford's problem the other 4 experienced riders did adequate (just about) jobs tonight. Kileen had a night to forget. C Cook was passed by Z Cook in heat 14 when he wasn't quick enough to be going wide as there was little dirt on the outside and Lidsey passed TS Kildemand in heat 12 when he was quick enough to go wide and there was a modicum of grip there as the track had just been graded. I think Blodorn must have passed C Cook in one heat but I missed it. Blodorn went backwards in his first to heats and didn't look at all comfortable with the track, especially the exit of turn 4 when there seemed to be build up of loose material in the middle of the track early on. Mulford also made a few decent starts but wasn't quick enough. It got very close between Kildemand & Z Cook in one heat. And that about sums up what racing there was! Bewley & Kurtz were far too quick all night and Aces were gating better. TS was used correctly by Oxford team manager, only thing he could have done really. Crowd seemed a bit lower & fewer visiting spectators than I'd expect, only saw about 6 people in red, back & white on the home straight. Definite blue groove on turn 3, yet got covered in dust while standing on turn 4. Plane sailing all the way home, thought I may get home before 11:00. Then the M6 intervened, which I was only on for about 15 miles, down to a single lane on three occasions! I do wonder how long Zischke will get, it's mid season and he's not scoring well. If Cairns is brought in as Aces RS when he comes of age at the end of June, I still don't see it being enough to better the Witches in the playoffs unless Zischke improves. As for Oxford, something is not right with Janowski and hasn't been for a few years, why a rider of his ability is riding how he is is mystery. I don't recall him having a serious injury. And he's 33, there is noting to him, it can't be an age thing. I have less expectation when it comes to Tungate but I thought he'd score better than he did. So... Why do Oxford fans shout "Come On Dougie" at Tungate or am I hearing it incorrectly? Why is there a statue in the carpark of the Lidl near the stadium. Also.... if the chap with the microphone in the stadium reads this, there is no N in Lidsey and its "ATPI" Aces not "ATP" And finally why does Luke Kileen have a shamrock on his logo.

I'm pretty sure the logic being if Anders is good enough to score 15 points at number 5, with Kerr & Cook scoring more points at 3/4, then it's the wrong position for him to be riding in. -
Well I haven't seen him do it, but I don't go every week and I certainly don't go for televised fixtures Limited options there because I can't see any of the top 5 being replaced

“First bench bunching” is not recognised by referees as a reason for ordering a restart with all for riders included. Meanwhile, “unsatisfactory start” is. why? Ask the officials.
