filling the form is a pain, DOB 1957 it means I have to scroll back to 1957 and as I dont have a team or stadium anymore I wont have a favorite team. No point filling that in, I watch just speedway in which ever league I feel like going to watch. What has my DOB got to do with the website.

They didn't even have to be up to the job... just British (ish) and willing 😂

But what about all the time he spent dwindling down the squad of riders to the final three. Then the numerous phone calls to all those riders that just missed out on the final team selection. (More like, can I scrape together three riders up to the job).

Credit where it's due, he did help bring home the big one... but it was hardly a job that was eating into his time.
