Poole is different to Swindon though. He doesn't own the Poole Stadium site. He only leases it from the Council. Having said that, Cala Homes have shown interest in the site in the latest 'suggestions' to be considered in a revised Council Local Plan!! If the Council accept the 'suggestion' as a firm proposal and then include it in a new Local Plan, which will have to be approved by central Government, then that plan will go out to public consultation. -
I appreciate that but there's also option 4, racing part-time rather than expecting a living from British Speedway when the sport cannot sustain giving them that.

Riders who currently double up/down will lose at least half their pay packet probably more. They will have 3 options : Try find a team abroad (will be difficult as most foreign teams signed up) Ask Championship team for significantly higher wage Retire and get a job out of the sport. Option 2 or 3 will have big impact to Championship
