Absolutely ridiculous. He had over a 7 point average for Scunny in the championship in 2024. He has one bad year and drops down to the NDL? Makes an absolute mockery of the sport. Some poor lad doesn't have a team place now because they want a number 1. I get the "rider coach" part but he doesn't have to take a team place to do that.

Threat is nullified a little once Whalley moves into the 1-5 but short season should be ok. Hope Anika finds an aggressive streak as i worry speed may be there but gating and first corners are going to be a problem.
