  1. Agree, but how can the Promotions not figure out how he sport is going downhill and do something radical .Fans just get fed up of being told were whinging about nothing and just walk away IMO .
  2. Thats what the sports all about these days.Never mind the entertainment.
  3. That is my point you cannot stick your wheel over the white line at Berwick which is something Lambert should have noticed IMO a little inexpieriance IMO .It was his first visit.
  4. Berwick have had no luck with injuries just as a few Teams this Season and they are all struggling to find riders it would appear, whether it is club finances or lack off riders want to ride in GB only the promoters themselves really know.It is all getting a it farcical now IMO .I don't like knocking the sport just for the sake off,but something radical has to be done to revive it.
  5. First bend at Berwick is tricky for any rider on the inside f they don't make a superb gate as it is a sharp entrance into the bend and you are always in danger of "catching the back wheel" when you are left with nowhere to go,did not see the crash but maybe young Lamberts first visit to Shielfield caught him out.I can recall several first bend incidents over the years.
  6. I would have dropped Howarth before Zengota if I was the manager it was a no brainer IMO .
  7. Its his damn bikes they stop when you shut the throttle off.
  8. Harris is an entertaining rider, but true World Class he is not.End off.He is riding at his level for the last few seasons. The engine carry -on is his business .IMO.but he seems to lack something in the mechanical knowledge so perhaps he should be interested in such a project.Only my opinion.
  9. 2 off the most attractive fixtures on paper at Berwick this season(Glasgow and now Peterborough)have been devalued by under strength Teams turning up.Whilst I agree that you cannot forecast what a meeting will turn out like entertainment wise ,it is really a poor reflection on the sport nowadays. How many times this season will there be 14 riders turn up for a meeting .Chuffed you may be but it is a joke IMO .
  10. Given the standard off racing it will be a travesty if Scunthorpe don't survive.Shows the state the sport is in.They are not the only club in that boat.
  11. could some bright spark in the Berwick Promotion not inquire about the situation as they surely knew this situation could arise as they know Dansh League runs on a Wed,instead of sitting around waiting for it too happen instead of shouting the praise of another Sky meeting. If so maybe another Premier League Team would have been able to full fill the fixture instead of turning it into a farce. With Robert Lambert though !!!
  12. Nobody ever has a full Team these days, that's why fans couldn't care whether they go or not.Its just 7 v 7 that might be entertaining if your not busy.
  13. Is it not in the Berwick "policy rules" not to talk "in the street" it only leads to rumours which have nothing to do with Berwick Speedway.
  14. would it not be better if the people who write the rules can agree with each other on clarity before printing them, once again in speedway rules interpretation means everything. Not good IMO.
  15. Nothing against Kyle but think he is overrated ,been around a while don't think there is much improvement left in him.
  16. Guess. the Headline in the Bandits Newsletter this week."" World Champ at Berwick"
  17. Given the nature of the sport shoulder dislocations are one of the worst injuries IMO .It does show up the flaw in the the rules but Hey Ho nothing new there in Speedway. not worth worrying about, the Team that can utilise the guests best will win the league anyway.
  18. speedwayengines are capable of much high speeds ,it's the gearing and the set-up that determines how they handle track conditions,in GB especially the tracks are less compatible than abroad to modern day technology IMO .
  19. Shoulder injuries are nasty ended a few riders career, think it could be the end for him given the trouble over the last few seasons.wish him a good recovery though.
  20. There is not much being said about young Holder but he is banging in impressive scores at most tracks, for his 1st season he is class.
  21. Indeed,Fisher at Berwick last night wasn't for giving "racing room" but opposition just got on with it.
  22. Looks like you were correct .Do you know the underlying reason or is it a secret.
