SawTommy at Berwick a few weeks impressed with his effort certainly gives 110%

On mini tour a couple of weeks ago I see enough young talent at Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Leicester to fill 2NL teams just give them a chance .

Agree regarding costs ,but at the end of the day what are the real costs regarding people who dont come back again.

Exactly right R/R in NL is a joke.

One thing that needs to be addressed in speedway these days is the delays regarding injured riders ,I know it is imperitive that that riders get the best possible treatment and attention if injured but the Health and Safety requirments have to be upgraded so that the continuity of the meeting is less effected than it is at most tracks .Delays for paperworks and Doctor avialability really kill the meetings stone dead,it seems unfortunely at Berwick it is a regular occurrance(and other tracks no doubt) Thought I read somewhere that we were trying to get more doctors to attend to try and speed up the meetings should accidents occur.By all means the riders should get the best of attention while injured at trackside but you tend to find that there is a long delay even when they are removed and the County Ambulance arrives . Standing for 21/2 Hours to see 20 minutes of racing is only for the diehards IMO newcomers maybe wont be that impressed. Crowds seem to be dwinding at most venues this season. There does seem to be a lot more injuries all round in the last couple of seasons for whatever reasons.

Think Peter would oonly put his millions into his beloved Bandits .Sincerly hope the Glasgow can find someone to invest in them ,Speedway in the north needs all its teams.

Being honest I dont think his Swedish form is all that great in the Elite Division ,true he can beat Benny Johannson in the other League.

If you had been there I might have a little respect for your opinion as you are entitled to comment on something you have witnessed,but as usual your just having a moan. If I were the Berwick Promotion I would sign him for next season and pay him to sit in the house ,on his rolling average he is a snip.

Branford is injured torn cruciate knee ligament at his 1st home match vRye House season over unfortunately .Agree with you he was impressive in the away matches he rode

Have to agree ,you want go go and watch YOUR team not a guest Team.You could'nt make up some of the stuff that are in the rules of Speedway.

The rules are as clear as mud ,regarding averages ,Ass averages guests ,riders that can double down,no wonder somebody just asks a simple question,all you have to do is give him the simple answer not question his knowledge of the rulebook

Vaculik deserves a wild card has proved he can mix it at GP level and is consistant in what we have already seen,very talented IMO. Don't think any Brits deserve a Wild Card when you see some of the young talent on the Continent

I agree, but like you say things will neve change while the Promoters govern their own sport. Self interest will always rule. Present rulebook has to be binned and a new simplified version created.

If you don't have the money or the backing I think they maybe consider their future in the sport because speedway is not a "hobby" sport IMO.Give it a serious shot by all means but if not progresing after 3-4 seasons try somthing else IMO.The foriegners do seem to be more wealthy than their British counterparts though or have found better sponsers.
