  1. Maybe he could have done what Garrity did and moved up at the start of the season.
  2. I don't have the averages but thought Garrity and Newman were the two best reserves in 2015. They could win a match by themselves. It surprises me Newman can be a reserve again in 2016 as it gives a big advantage to Poole. Well done to them for capitalising on (my opinion) a flawed rule. I want even racing not one guy head and shoulders above the rest. If he goes into the main team later in the season it will be good for him to race against some better riders in every heat. Only way to get better himself.
  3. Oh well, 2017 Cardiff speedway fans will now have to book directly with a hotel for £10 per night less than in 2016.
  4. Another big score from reserve tonight. Won't be his last as he's too good for that role Had a good 2015 and surely he should have been made to step up to take a 1-5 position in a team. If he wants to progress, as Garrity has tried to do, he should have stepped up. This is not anti Poole just my view.

  6. Easy option is for MJJ to decline the wild card.
  7. A full GP rider at reserve. And I thought the Poole reserve's were taking the easy option.
  8. Hampel is not returning to speedway until May but no exact date given. He will miss Krsko and he must be unlikely to be match fit for Warsaw if lining up. He will have a huge task to reach the Top 8 as he'll surely take a couple of months to hit top form. Freddie Lindgren takes his place.
  9. Nobody is perfect but why not try to see the good in Tai. Loads of GP riders don't ride in the UK. Can't blame them as its a random fixture list that needs to be sorted out and it's not the best paid league. Maybe being forced to ride in a qualifier for the UK Championship is for a bit pointless and a waste of time when you're the World Champion. Maybe the clever people at the BPSA should give a few wild cards in future years. He hasn't got any bikes over here so it must be a pain in the ass to move them across from Poland or Sweden. Dont forget the huge amount of money he makes for charity. He gives 100% for GB in the SWC and will do again in 2016 at Manchester.
  10. If it produces some good racing on a great race track who cares about the teams. Just watch it and enjoy it. The sport needs sponsors so if they get TV time it's a win win situation. Others might invest if they see obvious benefits.
  11. 1. Pedersen 2. Woofy 3. Zagar 4. Doyle 5. Kildermand 6. Hancock 7. Iversen 8. AJ 9. Janowski 10. Zmarlik 11 Bomber 12 Holder 13 Hampel 14 Lindback 15 Pawlicki Loads of young blood & hard charging types which may see Hancock's play it safe style see him drop down the order. Can't see Hampel doing much for a few GP's until his confidence comes back. Last time he broke his leg it took him time to get back to his best. Big year for Holder as he was below par in 2015. I hope Bomber does better but this is arguably the best line up we have seen for years.
  12. Scott Nicholls working on GPs for BTSport. he is good so I am happy with that.
  13. Why can't fans just enjoy it for what it is. Top class riders in competition on good tracks that should provide exciting racing.
  14. If he gets off to a flyer and gains confidence then good for him. The GP series gets stronger every year and he will probably do no better than mid table. Only a few points either way decide 7th to 11th.
  15. The reasons for him not riding in recent years, and Lee Richardson, are well known. He will improve our team so I would pick him if he's riding well come July. Cook was on fire at the end of last season but he didn't do well in previous SWC nor Cardiff GP. Maybe he is the vulnerable one ? Isn't it good to be talking about riders of quality being left out the England team instead of good honest triers but with limited ability like King, Barker and Kennett.
  16. Sure he will be hungry but so will the other riders. Pick on form at the time. None of us know who will be riding well or carrying an injury in July.
  17. He can be left out on form easily. Now Scott Nicholls is back we have 5 or at a push 6 riders gunning for 4 places. Tai and Bomber as GP riders looks certainties but the other two places must be filled on league form and maybe experience of the track.
  18. Scott Nicholls is good on TV as is his wife but please not Sam Straightaway Ermolenko. He talks confused garbage most of the time and is bias towards certain riders.
  19. Not dirty but gets himself into a position that cause a crash. Young and fearless maybe.
  20. That is acceptable comment. He admits he was dirty when young but now rides hard but fair. Plenty do worse than him and examples have been given but the anti Nicki brigade close there eyes when others put a guy in the fence or take a leg away with a stupid move. Hancock doesn't want to get involved on the track because he doesn't want to mix it and potentially get injured. Kildermand, Doyle, Janowski and Pawlicki will all cause more crashes than Pedersen in the GP series. If Doyle had Pedersen's name on his back he would have been slaughtered for some of the dangerous moves he tried in 2015. Kildermand is a huge crash waiting to happen to. Hope that doesn't happen but expect it to happen.
  21. Maybe a big screen to show the SWC would work.
  22. £10 a night but hook costs a bit more. No one can complain about these prices. Entertainment is £5 a head.
  23. I started reading this thread from post 1. Only 19 down and 3 negative from you. Exactly. Its a good idea and gives a focus for every PL fan in the UK. Give it a chance before knocking it. Make that 4 I get the feeling you are not in favour of the 2 day meeting
