  1. So you would willingly sacrifice a couple of rides taken by your inferior rider who is the main team to then bring in a supposed better rider as reserve. Uuuummmm !!!! So you would bring a reserve off the subs bench to face the top riders from other teams. These opposition top riders would have already had a heat or two to get the set up right. Uuuuummmmm ! ---------- If you have a better rider on the subs bench then they should be picked in the first place.
  2. Your idea has no clout. Why would a team have a better rider at reserve than in the team ? That would be a mad bit of selection by the manager. And who would decide if the reserve is a better rider than those in the team ? That has to be down to personal opinion. The manager surely picks his strongest 4 riders but as with Team GB we don't always agree with him. As when Middlo picked Kennett for the Kings Lynn qualifier a few years back,
  3. Nothing comes for nothing. Pay to watch if you want or don't pay. Free choice.
  4. `Thanks. Little wonder why clubs are broke on those earnings. Gate receipts must be a very small portion of pay.
  5. How much can a top flight and middle tier rider expect to earn in Poland ? Anyone know please.
  6. The calendar has a Euro Round 3 on Friday night 19th August. Misprint ?
  7. In most years I would agree but we have 2016 Euro's through mid May to Mid June.
  8. The Premier League is massive all over Europe and so is Spanish football, which kicks off later, on Sunday.
  9. My point mainly revolves around having the right team and financial structure behind him. Talent wise they might be OK I agree.
  10. When you get another idea please put it in the waste bin. Billy Janeiro James Sargeant is even funnier as GP ticket prices would have to be increased by £10 to pay for all the starting tapes.he breaks.
  11. That is a good idea providing the injured rider is injured. You don't need a long memory to remember a cosy swap in one SWC final.that had a huge effect. I would not allow a replacement for illness or a re occurrence of a niggling injury. If the rider is fit enough to start he should be made to finish the meeting. Injury via a crash is a different matter of course.
  12. I don't like the fancy numbering and would prefer old school 1-15. Easy for identification as there is less thought involved. Why change what isn't broke.
  13. KK's signing could go either of two ways. Inspired or rubbish. He had a few really hard GP crashes in 2014 and maybe they left a mark for 2015.
  14. I agree. Hope the new leadership at BPSA sorts out the sponsorship and pay for our best riders. You are probably right but if he gets a BT Sport slot it could be a unique angle to have one of the riders on the TV team.
  15. Agree about the seeding being poor but Nicholls only dropped out because of poor funding. Why should a rider ride for peanuts for his country. My original post says we have a new man at the top of the BPSA so things may change. Lee Richardson dropped out for the same reason.
  16. With GB in the final you'll see the World Champ. Plus another GP rider in Bomber. Cant get better than seeing the Champion making a very rare show in the UK
  17. With GB now seeded to the final we lose one of Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Australia. Could GB tempt Scott Nicholls back to ride on his home track ? A new man sits at the top of the BPSA so maybe new pay and sponsorship plans will be put in place.
  18. Good idea for the fans to have two meetings in two days. Less hotel costs for those doing both meetings and riders don't have to hang around doing nothing.. The old format gives a day grace in case of rain but it can rain any day in Manchester. Lottery.
  19. Exactly. People moaning without having all the facts.
  20. Plenty of moaning here about the 5 names. On the budget the club had who would YOU have picked. Klindt could be a very good pick.
