  1. Not sure convenient is the right word. Its fact. Those brought in are 2nd choices, that's fact. Robson is a poor signing as he's well over the hill.
  2. Rain due in Lodz at the weekend. Disaster for them if forecast is right.
  3. Dropping his average with two 0's and no pay Good rider who is badly out of form. I think his bikes are the problem as he had no speed tonight. Tiresome when the he's dropping his average yarn comes out. Andersen will have to pay his mechanics so he'll have lost money. Leicester have Swindon and Poole next two nights so expect two big thrashings.
  4. That I do not believe to be the case for Andersen or Nicholls. The former can't score a point anywhere at the moment which is unlike him.
  5. Wroclaw is a very good track. Watch the SoN and any recent league meeting. The SWC in Leszno 2017 (from TV) looked sold out.
  6. Both are very solid riders normally as there averages show. Hans isn't going well anywhere at the moment, for some reason he's out of form. Scott is normally very reliable but poor tonight. They don't ride poorly on purpose.
  7. great line up for TV R&R but will Lodz sell tickets or is it closed stands for the supporters. Did you say the last 2 matches were empty stands ?
  8. I agree. Top class footballers and cricketers play on immaculate pitches but we expect our top riders to ply there trade on some awful surfaces. No excuse for Swindon a few weeks ago and I've seen other tracks just as bad. Riders should be vocal.
  9. I thought the SoN worked and is better than a 5 man meeting. Most countries have two good riders so it gives better compitition. Nothing against the Poles but I don't want to see them win every year because of there strength in depth. SoN needs a bit of tweaking, ridiculous England lost the final but overall it was a very good two day meeting on a good track. I know little about Gorzow but surely the SoN needs to be run in a bigger city with plenty of hotels and maybe an airport.
  10. When the rest pay the same as the Polish then the riders will have more say.
  11. Sponsors put money into many sports but they expect some return on there investment. If this sponsor wants a meeting at Glasgow so what, there are no negatives ? The fans get to see a good match with the 2019 WC leader makinga rare appearance and Glasgow get some great publicity for there sponsorship money. You don't have to go.
  12. You miss the point completely. Of course people go to the hotels direct but the travel companies (or maybe just one company), who know the date of the GP long before the general public mop up plenty of rooms in advance. This is great for the hotel as they probably get the money up front or at least guarateed funds so they can relax. Hotels then sell there remaining rooms quickly so it means the public are left with just the travel companies to work with. Called a secondary market. Same as Viagogo and StubHub Companies who should all come under legislation to regulate Good business while your allowed to get away with it. Imagine renting a room (or buying a ticket) for £50 and then sell on for £75. Easy money isn't it.
  13. Accomadation won't be cheaper whilst a well known travel company hoovers up hotel rooms only to then sell them on at a premium to poor fans. These firms do a lot of good but this practise is awful. In a perfect world they would be left every room unsold.
