Asked how he started working at Pirates, the track specialist told the Daily Echo: βIt was towards the end of last season, there were a few problems. The SCB initially sent me down and we sorted it.

Yes, when Poole had a massive crater a few seasons back and had to delay a meeting by over an hour to sort it out, the SCB sent Terry (i think it was him!) to sort it out. I think Birmingham also had it at a similar time as well.
I was thinking more 'retired'. Original poster was talking about Cockle anyway so was kinda right even though I misread it!
Also best wishes to Hume, doesn't sound too good about being lifted into an ambulance from reading on the updates site.
Think you can overlook that for a 'late family emergency' which is how it was put on SM.
Rider Replacement will operate for Jack Holder due to a late emergency family issue.
As Hume said the track was totally different when Berwick were down. With three days of 28-30c heat, they really needed to start prepping the track before yesterday. Whether they have access to the stadium is another issue though.
Most riders ride with injuries as they need to be earning. Pretty sure Ablitt is higher than a 2 pointer, more like 5 lol and someone said Ritchings is a 2.35 now (not checked that myself) so you can't have him either.
