  1. Actually if Leicester stayed in Champ and limit went down to 38. I think that is the lowest rumoured points limit atm, then Leicester would have to get rid of 7 points! Maybe that might be more of a reason to go up?
  2. Hans Andersen also said similar, that is why Poole helped to get him fixed up with Plymouth. But he did also have Denmark! It would prob work for riders like Dougie, Nick Morris and Sam Masters. As they all have at least Poland anyway. Though not sure if they are all in top league there? Sure they would not find it to hard to get a place in Sweden if needs be. But not sure about riders like King, and both Worrall's though they are under the 8.5 bracket. Actually Richie is 8.51 and Howarth is 8.88!!!
  3. And Josh Pickering's is just under 9! If Edinburgh are allowed another year at Armadale and points limit is 38, then how do you make that work? Have to get rid of nearly 5 points. Their team average is only 0.3 lower than Poole's! I'm hoping for a trophy to show for ours before getting rid of 5 points!! Anyway back to Glasgow, I got a bit sidetracked as usual! Do you think they are trying to create a bigger gap between the leagues cos they are starting to do away with doubling up? Chris Louis did say it would have to be done over a few seasons. You couldn't just implement it over night.
  4. Complete opposite to what Poole did when moving leagues then! Tbf to Bates during last winter when AGM was done and dusted on the podcast, he did say he wanted 8 in Prem in 2023 and 10 in 2024. Now he prob thought one of the 8 would be Swindon, so just needed one other. But with that not possible, I guess he decided to move his other club up and hope Glasgow follow? Although if Edinburgh are allowed another season at Armadale whilst looking for something permanent, I can't see them following.
  5. Yeah, just checked. Exactly 5 for October. Bargain average if you can get him going! Will be interesting what Glasgow do if no Basso or Cook, they have a higher average than any of Poole's top 3!
  6. I'd expect Danyon be first on teamsheet!
  7. Might get a bit awkward then! I would be surprised if Rob Lambert does a full season.
  8. With the names rumoured to be going to Leicester seems like they will be fine!
  9. I do not remember that! A lot of former Coventry riders in that team as well.
  10. Rye House? Are you sure? I know Coventry did in 2009 but might not be 30, could have been just 26! lol. Also Ippo did in 1998. But is very hard to do! Checked and it was 31! Our last really bad season.
  11. Best chance BV have had in a while though. Only really if they can handle the pressure of the situation and you also need a bit of luck on your side when it comes down to a final. So if it is a draw on aggregate, is it superheat or golden heats?
  12. Normally just have the one farewell meeting in Britain. Could do what Bjarne did and have Peterborough Vs Glasgow at one of the tracks?
  13. If points limit is down to 38, I can see him being in. He deserves it, his performances and determination in last few weeks have gone into overdrive.
  14. Definitely by Redcar I would have thought! Since moving to no2 he's been on fire!
  15. I would think maybe Howarth at Oxford? Or is there a lot of rumour about Kyle going to Plymouth?
  16. Not Poole diehards! However I would be okay with a 6 point loss. Obviously I would rather win but I do think Redcar will win at home.
  17. He can ride for someone else! Hmm, I have more of a problem with his past actions tbf. Whether he would still do those same things now, idk. Maybe he's grown up a bit. Hope so.
  18. Lots of Poole fans either support Bournemouth or Southampton. I did say it was football so unsure why you are trying to link it to speedway lol. Anyway ride against it, crowd will be at least a third down. Would be a ridiculous business decision. Anyway Kyle Howarth has said he likes that is on a Friday then the return on the Saturday.
